Other pictures from around the Main Street Area
The harbringer of spring in Daytona Beach is not robins or cherry blossoms. It's the rumble of thousands of Harleys heading towards Main Street and other points in Volusia County, coming to celebrate Bike Week, which for many is the start of Spring. Likewise, autumn is heralded by the return of the Harleys for Biketoberfest.  Bike Week and Biketoberfest are without question the most exciting times of the year in Daytona. As you move closer to Main Street you can literally feel the energy and excitement building. The closest way to describe it to someone who's never been there is that it's like a Mardis Gras for bikers although you certainly don't have to be a biker to enjoy yourself. If you like beer, bands, beautiful women and other forms of spectacle you'll have a great time on Main Street...Come down and check it out!

I've finally secured a new web host and hope to be moving the Bike Week and Biketoberfest stuff there as well as finally getting some of the newer stuff up there. In the meantime, I hope to see you all at Bike Week 2008!
If you're looking for newer pictures contact me at the e-mail address shown at
http://www.iamjoeswebsite.com/. I've had terrible problems with Yahoo, the host of this site, blocking incoming e-mails so while I can send e-mail I rarely get e-mails in return. I paid the higher hosting fee here to avoid these sort of problems but the service has really gone down hill in the last year. This site will shrink and eventually move entirely unless the service improves drastically.
