My "columns" since I built a website. I'm on my third and hopefully final web host now. At least I hope to keep this domain name. Anyway, I will try to continue sporadically providing "News and Views" for the foreseeable future. Here you'll find announcements and opinions about essential software updates and about the political, environmental, social, and cultural happenings in the U.S. and around the world.

This gap in dates is due to being booted off my second free web host. I can only believe that these "free" hosts are run by a bunch of reactionary conservatives. They're not really free if the long hours you spend get suddenly vaporized into the ethernet by the whim of some geek who doesn't like your opinions. I'd advise you not to waste your time with Tripod or Web Provider (or Fortune City for other reasons). If you would like more details e-mail me at the address at the top of the page.
