Links Good-Bye
This page contains links to various sites I have found useful, interesting, informative and important. If you should have any questions, comments, problems or suggestions about any of these please CONTACT ME. If you would like to see your site listed here e-mail me your URL and I'll take a look at your site and list it here if I like it. Keep in mind it may take a while for me to get to it. It will also help your cause if you put a link to my page on your site
Art,
Humor and Just Weird Stuff
##
Absurd...Strange
site. This is the state of internet art, I guess.
## The
Deathclock...Ever
wonder exactly when you were going to cash in your chips?
## Dirk
[.com]...The
fundamental interconnectedness of all things. Check it out and
connect...
## Snarg
Snarg
Snarg
Snarg
Snarg
Snarg...To
Snarg...or not to Snarg. You could spend a long time poking around on
this site, finding links hidden all over the place. It's part
interactive and part, well??? This is even stranger than Absurd.
##
Soulbath...Some
really neat effects. I believe they are trying to push an interactive
and better way of internet advertising instead of those annoying
banner ads that click you irretrieveably away from the website you
were exploring. A must check-out if you are designing websites and
look to collect ad revenue. I could be wrong, however. I'm not sure
if I ever got to wherever I was supposed to get to with this site.
## Spacefem's
Planet...A site
that you can spend a lot of time on. You may not care for everything
she's about but she has made some really cool sick stickman
animations...
## Web
Head Jessie…Jokes, tips, games (check out
the beer bottle game) and other stuff...Sign up for the
newsletter.
Computer
##
PC
Help...A link to my
computer information page. On this page I have links to software and
sites that will help beginners set up basic internet security and
maintain their PC's performance as well.
## The
Langa List…If you want to keep up with what
is happening in the internet and PC world than a subscription to the
Langa List is a must! It's especially imperative that you read this
if you use Windows. Most of what I've learned about PC and internet
security came directly from this or from leads I got from this
newsletter. Best of all, it's FREE! You can't afford to be without
it.
## Tourbus...Take
a ride on the Internet Tourbus! A short e-mail newsletter with lots
of tips and links to great sites. It's also free!
Friends
and Family
## Kydlandia!…My
friend Evan's family and interests website. He's currently
documenting his massive native plants landscaping project in his yard
(He lives in Southern California). If you made a realistic offer for
the GTO he might accept it! You can find pictures of me if you check
out the camping and wedding pictures!
## Muse
For Hire...A couple of friends I worked with in Death Valley now
have their own online business. I could also have put this section
under “Spiritual”. If you're looking for a little magic,
check this site out.
## Rich
'n' Ev's Racing Shop…My brother's website.
It covers his online racing experience in the black doesn't have and
doesn't want a sponsor 69 and a bit of his personal philosophy. He
also has the best pit crew in online racing. Check out his site but
stay out of his way on the track!
## The
Ocean Deck...My
"place to escape" while I've lived in Daytona Beach. Good
food, good music and a great staff! You're likely to find the Ocean
Deck T-Shirt you're wearing recognized anywhere in the country you
happen to be. Come in and grab a Guinness and check out the sounds of
the Caribbean Posse or Morning Buzz, two of Daytona's best local
bands. Say high to Kim, Jennifer, Tina, Ronnie, Marianne, Desiree,
Carol, Cynthia, Christy, Amy, Chrisanne, Amy, Janie, Jackie, Kelly,
Boomer, Billy, Bama, Leslie, Tara, Danielle and any who I might have
missed. If you happen to run into Adele, Jamie, Miriam, Shannon,
Gina, Kelly, Amy, Wendy, Donna or any of the others who used to work
there, wherever they are, say hi for me! Of course, as always,
remember to tip your bartenders and waitresses well...
Music
##
Altrok.com...Another
great internet music site. News and reviews on modern alternative
rock with links to streaming internet broadcasts of great music. This
site is run by several ex-WHTG-FM (for years the radio home of Matt
Pinfield, it was the pinnacle of alternative rock radio in central
New Jersey) D.J.'s along with some Melody Bar alumni.
## WPRB-FM
103.3...Princeton
University's radio station. College radio at its best!
## WRSU-FM
88.7...Rutgers
University's radio station. I liked waking up to a hardcore show in
the morning, it got me ready (as well as could be) to go to work. I
spent many a Saturday listening to Ed Wong and Kathy DiSilva. One of
the few things I really miss about New Jersey. Their online broadcast
is now on (permanent?) hold. I e-mailed them to ask what happened to
it and got this reply: "WRSU is no longer streaming its audio
online because of legal and financial concerns as a result of recent
legislation and proposed enforcement of the Digital Millenium
Copyright Act (DMCA)". For more information on the DMCA and it's
even more nefarious successor, the CBDTPA, check out the relevant
links on my "Green
Links"
page.
Political
& Social Satire
## The
Onion…"America's Finest News Source"
in their own humble opinion.
## SatireWire
dot.com.edy…Unfortunately, this site is no
longer being updated but the stuff remaining is a hysterically funny
read.
Reference
##
Time...The
official time from the U.S. Government's atomic clock.
##
Snopes.com...The
Urban Legends Reference Page. Ever wonder if that e-mail rumour you
just received is true. Chances are this site has the
lowdown.
Spiritual
##
Germaine's
Tapestry..."Mystical
Teachings from various Spiritual Traditions… Buddhism…
Christianity… Hinduism… Judaism… Sufism…
Taoism… Poetry… Images… Stories… Mailing
Lists…" A site dedicated to peace. It shows the best of a
variety of spiritual beliefs without the politics involved with most
religious organizations.
